Power washing is fast, but high-pressure water can strip away the wood grain along with the dirt, leaving the surface rougher and less able to hold stain evenly. If needed, we use a bleach-based cleaning solution. The process removes grime and restores the wood’s natural color without damaging the grain underneath.
We stain every fence and deck with Wood Defencer, a product line built specifically for fencing rather than general-purpose outdoor wood. It’s the only stain product we use, and we offer it in transparent and semi-transparent finishes depending on the look and the protection level you want. Transparent stain shows more of the wood’s natural grain. Semi-transparent stain adds pigment and tends to work well on older fences that need more help hiding weathering.
